Alexander Pace
IGC member and PSU LIGO staff scientist since November 2015. Current work focuses include development and maintenance of the Gravitational-Wave Candidate Event Database (GraceDB), and packaging, optimization, and benchmarking of the GstLAL gravitational-wave detection pipeline. Work areas include web services, high-performance computing, software optimization and containerization.
Reformed aerospace engineer; previous interests in high-performance computing and computational fluid dynamics (CFD). High-speed flows and high-speed vehicle aerodynamic and aerothermal performance.
